Parker Johnson's Guatemala Trip "Thank You" letter

 Dear friends and family, 

Thank you for your prayers and for donating to my trip to Guatemala. I had a lot of fun there and I’m planning to go again next year. On this trip, we would go into people’s homes, ask if they wanted a water filter, get to know the family a little, install the water filter, show them how to use it, and then we would share the gospel with the family. our group of 35 provided 143 families with the gift of clean water, shared the gospel with around 250 people, and witnessed 29 pray to receive Christ. One of my favorite moments from this trip was when we prayed with a family of 4 (two parents, a son, and a daughter) to receive Christ. We preached the gospel and distributed water filters for four days and on the last day, we had a “fun day” at the beach. The sand at the beach was black and I got a non-alcoholic pina colada that I drank out of a pineapple. My favorite part of this trip was all the soda there. All the Guatemalan Coke, Sprite, and Pepsi tasted so much better than American soda.
